Thank you to everyone who contributed towards Barak shaving his head for St. Baldrick's! He was part of a team of Med Students who participated in this annual event. With your help, Barak raised over $500 towards cancer research for children!

A marriage of two blogs...

Lots of things get combined when two people get married... kitchen utensils, bank accounts, methods for doing laundry, your names. In our case, this led to the creation of our "celebrity nickname" (courtesy of Tim Jones) - BarakAli (think broccoli), and now a new blog to match!

I realized that there's just not a proper spot these days to post all of the photos and stories from our newly combined life. After all, do they go on Barak's blog (www.lightningdavis.blogspot.com) that he has ZERO time to update in the midst of all the busy-ness of Med School? Or do they go on my blog (www.alisonkorock.blogspot.com) which isn't even my legal name anymore? So, while these two blogs will continue to exist, and may occasionally be updated (probably right about the same time I catch up on ironing all our clothes we took on our honeymoon), this new blog will be a spot where we will periodically try to quickly drop some photos and stories of our life together in Kentucky.

So, there you have it. We got married, and now we've birthed a blog! Enjoy!
